This is Bob

I was so stunned by Live 8 organizer Bob Geldof's Versailles comment (see a previous posting) that I had to look him up. After viewing the homepage photo of him on his official, sanctioned website, I felt kinda bad for him since clearly he is blind.

I can't help but feel bad for him because of the whole Paula Yates situation. Consider the love of your life and mother of your three oddly named children leaves you publicly for Michael Hutchinson, and has his baby. Then Michael dies suddenly and Sir Bob is left to console Paula. She ultimately overdoses and is found by the love child. The following custody battle between Bob and Michael Hutchinson's parents result in Bob winning full custody. Nasty all around.
