Well not really. But Tommy C. did propose to his nubile young girlfriend on that great phallic symbol, the Eiffel Tower. Tom and Katie forever.

If she were an ounce smarter, she (1) wouldn't have been taken in by his cult, but whatever, and (2) wouldn't attach herself to Cruise's falling star. His days are numbered, baby. What are you thinking?

Tom Cruise has hired a Scientology official to look after girlfriend Katie Holmes during her publicity tour for new movie 'Batman Begins'.

The Hollywood heartthrob has reportedly asked church representative, Jessica Rodriguez, to join the 26-year-old beauty as she promotes the summer blockbuster around the world.

A source told America's New York Post newspaper: "Tom pays Jessica to 'Keep Katie on the path'.

"She goes everywhere with Katie - she's never more than a quarter-step behind her".

Insiders claim the controversial cult representative has already attracted anger from movie bosses.
Film chiefs are reportedly fuming after it emerged Rodriguez had been allegedly interfering in promotional interviews and disrupting press conferences.
